THE OFFICIAL FILM OF THE 2005 VELOCITY CHALLENGE IS NOW AVAILABLE:

This 25 minute film of the 2005 Velocity Challenge Speed Skiing event was captured on state of the art Mini DV cameras and is now available in DVD format, VHS tape or in MPEG format. Approximatly 25 minutes of unedited footage, photos and video captures is included as outtakes. The film is set to music which was carefully selected for both lyrics and beat, and includes a rare German version of David Bowie's hit "Heroes". The film's producer and principal cameraman now works as a snow cat operator at Sun Peaks Resort and was a film maker in Verbier, Switzerland for 5 years during the 1980's. He is also the author of the non-fiction work "The Armament Tide - ReArming America" which was co-written with Rear Admiral Stuart F. Platt SC, USN, Ret. and published in 2002. He is now writing a book on Naval History, again with Admiral Platt.
